Another Coffee Peruvian Oro Verde Organic Coffee (2kg)

This Peruvian Organic Fair Trade coffee is a coffee that we have been trying in the office for several weeks - we love it! We have asked some of our regular coffee customers to try it too and had superb feedback.

Peru is the world's sixth largest coffee producer and the coffee farms are all situated in the heavily forested north-eastern slopes of the Andes. This coffee is well balanced with good acidity and is an ideal coffee for espresso, cafetiere and makes a great after dinner coffee.

The Fair Trade Organisation was founded in 1967 with the aim of purchasing goods at a fair price and under fair conditions. Good working conditions and environmental policies are promoted and no children are exploited in the production of Fair Trade products.

The Soil Association controls the certification of Organic products. It was founded in 1946 by a group of farmers, scientists and nutritionists who were concerned about the way our food was produced. They put great emphasis on the link between healthy soil, healthy food and healthy people.

All our roasted coffees are professionally roasted using a commercial Probat drum roaster and are packed in foil valve bags to preserve their freshness.
