Stellar 7000 S701 14cm Stainless Steel Milk Pan

The Stellar 7000 range of professional cookware represents superb quality and innovative design at an affordable price. One of our buyers tried one of these pans and was so impressed that she has replaced all of her cookware with this range!

This range of cookware is made from premium stainless steel, with cast handles, and a polished finish on the outside of the pans.

The non-stick pans in the range have a Teflon Platinum Plus non-stick coating. It is important to note that the non-stick coating is DuPont Teflon, PFOA free. PFOA (perfluorooctanoic acid) is a chemical that has been used for many years to aid the manufacturing process of non-stick coatings but it has, in some cases, been suspected to be harmful and is now considered unsuitable for use in the manufacturing of food preparation utensils.

The pans without the non-stick coating have a brushed satin finish and most have an internal measuring scale that means no additional measuring jugs to wash up!

Stellar 7000 pans all have a thick hot forged base which gives excellent heat distribution, suitable for all hobs including induction, and they have well designed pouring lips. The pans in the range are available with standard lids or draining lids, but we were so impressed with the draining lids that we only stock the saucepans with draining lids. The clear draining lids provide good visibility, fit well, and have a wide band around the edge with small holes on one side and large holes on the opposite side to make draining really easy. The other clever aspect of this design is that you can control how much steam is released by turning the lid - when the straining holes are aligned with the pouring lips steam can easily escape but as the lid is turned they are closed off against the side of the pan and the lid becomes more like a standard saucepan lid.

This pan is a 14cm milk pan with a brushed satin finish on the inside.
