The Krups XN5005 Nespresso Le Cube is a very stylish Nespresso machine but with many of the features of the bigger machines. It is very simple-to-use and designed to work exclusively with Nespresso capsules. This innovative idea from Nestle takes the hard work out of making your espresso. Pre-ground coffee is provided in individual hermetically sealed capsules so that it remains fresh up until the moment you use it. Nespresso capsules are available in a number of varieties from very strong to mild as well as a couple of decaffeinated coffees.
The Krups XN5005 takes one Nespresso capsule at a time. All the user has to do is lift the polished stainless steel lever on the top of the machine, drop a capsule into the slot, close the lever and press the coffee button. The machine does all the hard work for you delivering a perfect coffee every time. The XN5005 has backlit buttons and is programmable giving the user automatic control of the amount of coffee dispensed into the cup. When you next raise the lever the used capsule is dropped into an internal container for later disposal with no fuss or mess! The water tank is made from clear plastic making it easy to see when it needs refilling. On both sides of the machine there are flaps which lift up to store and warm your espresso cups. One important feature of the XN5005 Le Cube is that the cup rest folds up against the machine allowing you to use tall cups for your coffee!
Other features of this machine include a special valve in the bottom of the water tank to prevent water running out when it is lifted off the machine, and a chromed metal cup platform on the drip tray.
The Krups XN5005 Nespresso Essenza comes with a Nespresso Club welcome pack which contains 12 Nespresso capsules (a range of varieties) and a handy ring binder which introduces the Nespresso Club and describes the different Nespresso capsule coffee varieties. The welcome pack also includes two Nespresso branded glasses, one espresso and one cappuccino.
