The Krups Nespresso FNA2 is a fully automatic machine designed to work exclusively with Nespresso capsules. This innovative idea from Nestle takes the hard work out of making your espresso. Pre-ground coffee is provided in individual hermetically sealed capsules so that it remains fresh up until the moment you use it. Nespresso capsules are available in a number of varieties from very strong to mild as well as a couple of decaffeinated coffees.
The Krups Nespresso Concept Automatic takes one Nespresso capsule at a time. All the user has to do is to raise the chrome latch, place the capsule in the capsule holder, close the latch and press one of the two backlit buttons (small cup or large cup) and the machine does the rest delivering a perfect espresso. When you raise the latch for your next espresso (if raised during the preparation of an espresso the machine will automatically switch off) the used capsule is ejected into a container for disposal with no fuss or mess! The machine will emit three audible beeps when the capsule container requires emptying.
The Krups FNA2 comes with two attachments for the steam wand, a standard frothing tip and an auto-cappuccino unit. The auto-cappuccino attachment, usually only found on more expensive machines, draws in milk and automatically dispenses frothed milk into the waiting cup – no frothing skills required! The steam wand can be used to heat other drinks such as hot chocolate, or to dispense hot water.
A special valve in the bottom of the water tank prevents water running out when it is lifted off the machine. The drip tray has a polished stainless steel platform, and features a high visibility yellow float to indicate when it is nearly full.
The machine comes with a Nespresso Club welcome pack which contains 12 Nespresso capsules (a range of varieties), an espresso cup, a cappuccino cup, and a handy ring binder which introduces the Nespresso Club and describes the different Nespresso capsule coffee varieties. You can order your new Nespresso capsules from the Nespresso Club via either a 24/7 phone line or their website. Standard delivery is 2-3 working days by courier.
