The XP9000 is the latest fully automatic bean to cup espresso machine from Krups. It is a superbly designed and easy to use machine that makes a perfect cup of espresso, cappuccino or latte. Simply press the button for your required drink and the machine will tell you how much cold milk to put into your mug, then place this under the dispensing nozzle, lower the frothing tip and the machine will froth the milk and then grind the coffee beans and dispense the espresso coffee into the frothed milk. No need for a steam wand or separate auto-cappuccino device. The used ground coffee is automatically collected in an internal removable container. It is the only fully automatic bean to cup espresso machine on the market to produce a unique “layered” coffee!
As you would expect with a bean to cup machine of this calibre, the XP9000 is packed with features. It has a blue backlit display that allows you to access the programmable features. You can set the machine to switch on or off at a pre-selected time so that it is always ready when needed. The XP9000 allows you to program both the amount of ground coffee (from 7g to 14g) and the amount of water giving you full control over the strength of your coffee. You can also program the brewing temperature to your personal taste. The XP9000 also has a pre-ground coffee facility enabling you to use decaffeinated coffee or simply just a different blend of coffee – maybe a stronger roast for after dinner. The machine will also dispense hot water so that you can make a cup of tea.
Looking after the XP9000 is also very easy: a simple touch starts the automated rinsing, cleaning and descaling programmes to ensure the cleanliness and long life of your machine.
The machine is supplied with a welcome pack which contains a Claris water filter, two sachets of descaling crystals, two cleaning tablets, a water hardness test strip and an instruction booklet. The Krups XP9000 comes with a free three year warranty if you complete and return the registration card to Krups to extend the standard one year warranty! Registration also gives you free membership of the Krups Coffee Club, which provides access to training materials on how to make great coffee and other coffee related offers.
